From June 18, 2015 “Ceļu būvniecības sabiedrība „IGATE” Ltd” implemented project “Bituminous mixture production using foam bitumen and recycled asphalt” with Norway grants co-financing. Project identification number: NOFI/LV06/AK2/4.The objective of the project is for “Ceļu būvniecības sabiedrība „IGATE” Ltd” to introduce a new environmentally friendly bituminous mixture production technology, which will save the resources to be used and fuel, thus reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the quantity of harmful emissions. Under the auspices of the project will be purchased and installed equipments, which make it possible to add recycled asphalt pavement and to manufacture the product at lower temperatures (compared with the existing hot mix technology).Norway grants and state budget co-financed 45% of the project’s eligible costs. Project will be implemented in April 30, 2016.The project application has been approved on Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009 – 2014 programme “Green Industry Innovation” 2nd open call “Support for Introducing Green Technologies into Production”. Under the auspices of the project a foam bitumen production and recycled asphalt cold insertion line will be purchased and installed. The new technology is based on the production of bituminous mixtures, which make it possible to add recycled asphalt pavement and to manufacture the product at lower temperatures that reduce impact on the environment. |
KPFI
Implementation of the Project Nr.KPFI-6/28 „”Ceļu būvniecības sabiedrība „IGATE” Ltd” activities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in „Glūdas bituma bāze”, Glūda parish, Jelgava district” has been accomplished in August 2012. Project was financially supported by the The Climate Change Financial Instrument. As a result of the project, bitumen storage buildings have been heat insulated and production heat supply system has been replaced. The benefit is the reduction of CO2 emissions by 296.11 tons. Monitoring of the project’s effectiveness will be carried out for the next five years. www.lvif.gov.lv |

In 2011 ”Ceļu būvniecības sabiedrība “IGATE”” Ltd in collaboration with the Latvian Forest Industry Federation and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry carried out training of employees under the European Social Fund activity “Support for the employees’ training in order to promote merchants’ competitiveness – support for the training organized in partnership”.
